During 2025-2026 Emelie was in the ensemble at Volkstheater Rostock where she 2025 sung the role of Suzuki in ”Madama Butterfly” and 2026 the roles of Oma Zeitel and Fruma Sarha in ”Anatevka” among others.

 

Emelie Kroon sang the title role in Bizet’s ”Carmen” with Moderna operan in Sweden summer 2024, she's been with Moderna sinece 2022 when she sang the role of Frau Reich in a Swedish adaptation of ”Die lustige Weibern von Windsor” by Otto Nicolai, directed by Andrea Hagman.

 

2021 Emelie was one of 8 finalists in the Fulham Opera Verdi Prize, that took place in London, with sir. Thomas Allen and Richard Hetherington in the jury. Later that year she made her debut as Erste Dame in ” Die Zauberflöte” at Meinfranken Theater Würzburg, Germany, conducted by Gabor Hontvári and directed by Andreas Wiedermann.

 

2018 she sung both the role of Annina and Flora in Östgöta Blåsarsymfoniker´s concert version of ”La Traviata” with maestro Giordano Bellincampi in Linköpings konserthus.

In 2017 Emelie sang the part of the second maid in Steaphen Langridge adaptation of ”Elektra” by Strauss at Göteborgsoperan, conducted by Olaf Henzold.

 

Emelie made her operatic debut at the Kings Head Theatre in London, 2013, as Ulrica in Verdi's opera ”Un Ballo in Maschera” with Opera Up Close, directed by Adam Spreadbury-Maher. In 2014 she made her debut in Sweden as Agnese in Bellini's opera "Beatrice di Tenda" with Södertäljeoperan at Konserthuset in Stockholm. 2023 contained both the role debut of La Zia Principessa in Puccini´s ”Sour Angelica” and the titel role of ”Carmen” by Georges Bizet.
